The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent licensed financial advisor if you have any doubts.

Forex Trading Risks

CFTC REQUIRED RISK DISCLOSURE

FOREX TRADING INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL INVESTORS. PLEASE DO NOT TRADE WITH BORROWED MONEY OR MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE. Any opinions, news, research, analysis, prices, or other information contained on this website is provided as general market commentary and does not constitute investment advice. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage, including without limitation to, any loss of profit, which may arise directly or indirectly from use of or reliance on such information.

Leverage and Margin

Foreign exchange trading on margin carries a high degree of risk. The high degree of leverage that is often obtainable in forex trading can work against you as well as for you. The use of leverage can lead to large losses as well as gains. Even small market movements can have a significant impact on your trading account. A 1% market movement could result in 50% or 100% of your account being lost when using high leverage.

Market Volatility

Forex markets are subject to sudden and dramatic shifts due to economic data releases, geopolitical events, central bank decisions, and market sentiment changes. Prices may gap significantly, making it impossible to execute stop-loss orders at the intended price. You may be required to deposit substantial additional margin funds on short notice to maintain your position.

Cryptocurrency Trading Risks

Extreme Volatility

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and speculative assets. Price swings of 10-50% or more in a single day are common. The cryptocurrency market operates 24/7 with no circuit breakers, trading halts, or price limits. You could lose your entire investment very quickly.

Regulatory Uncertainty

Cryptocurrencies face uncertain and rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks globally. Digital assets may be banned, restricted, or heavily regulated in various jurisdictions. Regulatory actions can cause severe price drops and may make it impossible to access or liquidate your holdings.

Security and Technology Risks

Cryptocurrency trading involves significant technology and security risks including exchange hacks, wallet vulnerabilities, loss of private keys (resulting in permanent loss of funds), blockchain network issues, smart contract bugs, and potential for complete loss of digital assets. There is no FDIC or SIPC insurance protection for cryptocurrency holdings.

Market Manipulation and Fraud

Cryptocurrency markets are susceptible to price manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading, and fraudulent projects. Many cryptocurrencies have limited liquidity. Exchanges may suspend trading, halt withdrawals, or experience technical failures preventing access to your funds.

Futures Trading Risks

CFTC Risk Disclosure Statement

THIS BRIEF STATEMENT CANNOT DISCLOSE ALL THE RISKS AND OTHER SIGNIFICANT ASPECTS OF COMMODITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS TRADING. IN LIGHT OF THE RISKS, YOU SHOULD UNDERTAKE SUCH TRANSACTIONS ONLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THE CONTRACTS AND CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIPS INTO WHICH YOU ARE ENTERING AND THE EXTENT OF YOUR EXPOSURE TO RISK.

High Leverage

Commodity futures trading involves high leverage. The amount of initial margin is small relative to the value of the futures contract. A relatively small market movement will have a proportionately larger impact on your account. You may sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and any additional funds deposited to maintain your position. If the market moves against you, you may be called upon to deposit substantial additional margin funds on short notice.

Liquidation Risk

Under certain market conditions, it may be difficult or impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur during limit-up or limit-down moves, or if there is insufficient liquidity. If you cannot meet margin calls, your positions may be liquidated at a loss and you will be liable for any resulting deficit in your account.
